Welcome To The Guadalupe Roastery Partner Program!
Who We Are:
Guadalupe Roastery is a coffee roastery seeking to help change the world through roasting and selling coffee to promote the Common Good. For this reason, we are seeking to partner with causes and organizations that share the common goal of providing for the basic human needs that allow communities and individuals to flourish. Many organizations rely on charitable giving, which while good, can often can lead to difficulties in maintaining consistent funding. Creating a Coffee Club for your organization is a free way to bring in consistent additional funding, raise awareness, and build community. In turn, your organization will help farmers in the various countries we source our beans from as we work towards establishing our own coffee cooperatives so as to ensure that every worker involved in the process is paid a fair, living wage.
What a Coffee Club is:
A Coffee Club is a monthly subscription in increments of 1, 2, or 3 lbs of coffee. We source single origin, organic and specialty-grade beans from a wide variety of countries around the world. When a customer subscribes to a Coffee Club, they choose the number of lbs/month they would like to receive, the country of origin for their coffee, and whether or not they would prefer to receive their coffee whole bean or ground. We can ship anywhere in the country.
Accountability and Communication
What Is This?
We take a proactive approach to creating trust with our partners. It is our goal to ensure we offer as much information as possible on all funds raised and/or declined in our system.Communication
We're available to provide details on any funds raised that were declined. We employ strong communication with our partners and encourage questions and feedback.
How Does It Work?
If you decide to partner up with us, we will create a custom page on our website for your organization where your customers can learn more about what you do and subscribe to your Coffee Club. This is absolutely free, easy to -sign-up (top right of this page), does not require any technical knowledge, and can be done as soon as you would like, we simply need permission to use your organization's logo on our website. You can also provide any material and information about your organization that you would like us to include.
Each month we will keep track of how many people subscribe to your Coffee Club. At the end of each month, we will then send a check to you, the amount of which is determined by the number of people subscribed to your Coffee Club. We will also meet or schedule a call, monthly or quarterly, to go over the number of subscribers, as well as the amount sent.
Within each shipment, we include our own “Brewing Bulletin” for free, and you can send us any materials or content you wish to include in each shipment each month at no additional cost. This is a great way for you to let your subscribers know how their money is being used, introduce them to the children they’re helping provide meals for, and even connect subscribers to form a community around the Coffee Club and the people it helps.
We will also market the Coffee Club ourselves and ask you to do the same. Additionally we will cross-promote your organization through our social media and email marketing. When we cross-promote we are happy to use any particular material you provide. Once you reach 400 or so subscribers, we can also create custom coffee bags for your Coffee Club with your logo on them.
What a Coffee Club does:
We have two main objectives in partnering up with initiatives, with organizations that are like-minded, through the creation of Coffee Clubs:
• First, the Coffee Club provides causes and organizations a way to bring in consistent funding, raise awareness, and build community at no cost. When organizations partner with us to create a Coffee Club, they receive a portion of the profits each month for their club, and we will cross-promote that organization through our social media and email marketing.
• Second, the Coffee Club will help to establish coffee cooperatives like our first two in Nicaragua and Uganda. We currently have 30 farmers outside of San Marcos eager and waiting to start this cooperative. Fr. Joseph Lugalambi as of May 2018 is utilizing "seed" money to build a cooperative in Uganda. Part of the profits of our Coffee Clubs go to support these initiatives, which will allow us to work directly with farmers, pay them a living wage, help rehabilitate their land, and reinvest in the farms and make sure the farmers have the best equipment and farming techniques.
Creating a Guadalupe Roastery Coffee Club is a free, immediate way your organization can begin bringing in additional funding, raise awareness, and build community while helping us begin providing farmers around the world the means they need to support themselves and their families.
So what are you waiting for? Go ahead and use the form on this page to sign-up. If you share our values and passion, we will get you set-up and approve your organization as one of our partners.
